  A friend of mine entrusted me to refinish his colt 1903. I had been recommended a local here in Miami Dade County I sent the gun out and 6 months later all I got was a spray painted black gun and a bill for $400. I did not accept the gun and sent it back only to have the guy try to reprint it. Turns out he had no idea in how to blue the gun and had made a huge mess even damaging the safety which according to Ford looked like that other gunsmith had cut it. When I finally got the gun back from the Wannabe gunsmith here in Miami I immediately called Ford, explained my horror story and asked for their help. Ford assured me they would make the gun look new and YES... 6 weeks later I receive the gun back and it looked brand new.
